What to Expect
ARRIVAL
Come early! Plan to arrive 15 minutes before service starts so we can help you get familiar with our check-in process, show you around the children's wing, and introduce you to the leaders in your child's class. A volunteer will greet you at the "First Time Here" table in the children's wing.
CHECK-IN AND SECURITY
Parents check in their children at the Check-In counter of the Children's wing. Children will be given a nametag to wear that displays their name and a unique security code for the day. Parents are given a tag that contains the corresponding security code.
All volunteers are interviewed and have passed a background check. The church also has a safety team that looks after the building during service and programming. They are trained in their professional fields to assist in emergencies.
WELL CHILD POLICY
To ensure the health of all children and workers, please refrain from bringing your child if he/she has had any of the following symptoms within the past 24 hours: fever, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, non-clear runny nose, or has been on antibiotics for less then 24 hours.
CONTACTING YOU
If we need to contact you after you have checked in your child, we will send a text message to your cell phone. We understand that cell phones are forgotten on busy mornings so we do have a pager system if you would like to take a pager with you.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Woodcrest Kids love to take pictures or videos of the kids in the "life of Woodcrest". When we register your family, please indicate if you would not like your children's photos taken or videoed.
For Your Convenience
MOTHERS' NURSING ROOM
We have two rooms for mothers. One is located in the nursery (a separate room within the room) and the other room is in the Women's restroom. This private room within the restroom allows mothers to listen to the service.
ACTIVITY BAGS
At this time, we do not have Activity Bags due to Covid Protocols.
