Face coverings will no longer be required for services and programming at Woodcrest.  This decision comes following the State of Minnesota’s action rescinding the statewide face mask mandate.

Corporate Worship Protocol

  • We will offer both 9am and 10:30am in-person worship services each Sunday.
  • Livestream of both worship services will be available and a playback link will be available on the church website following services for view at any time.
  • With ongoing safety in mind, services will remain a touch-free experience. There will be no official greeting time, we will not have programs, nor take an offering. For those prepared to give, offering drop boxes will be located in the commons area. We highly encourage use of online giving and the online digital connect card.
  • We ask the good personal hygiene is practiced before and while in the church building including frequent hand washing, use of hand sanitizer, covering your cough, and not touching your face and nose.
  • We will support any attendees who desire to continue to wear coverings and ask for understanding for those individuals who decide to do so. We will continue to provide face masks if anyone would like one.
  • Congregational singing will be allowed.
  • The Café and kitchen will be open for fellowship and events. Food service protocols will need to be followed. Contact the church office for details.

Non-corporate Meeting/Event Protocols

  • Meeting requests will be scheduled through the Woodcrest Church office.
  • At the conclusion of the meeting/event, sanitizing of all high-touch surfaces, tables, and chairs must be completed before exiting the church. Also, we ask that the sound/video equipment is sanitized, if used, and you have been trained to do so. Supplies are located by the main doors to the Rock Room.
  • At this time, we are unable to accommodate the integration of the sound/video equipment with online meeting capabilities such as Zoom. If you have been trained to use the sound/video equipment for use in the room, you may. However, staff will not be available to conduct any training, so if you want to provide your own technology (laptop, tablet, phone) to facilitate an online meeting, you are certainly welcome to do so.

Woodcrest has undertaken reasonable steps to lessen the risk of COVID-19 transmission. However, there are still inherent risks related to COVID-19 transmission that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid such risks.

Those who are sick or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (cough, shortness of breath/difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, loss of taste or smell) are advised to not come to the church. Also, if a person has had COVID-19, we ask that they follow CDC guidelines for quarantine. See CDC link below for more information.
